The homeowner had recently purchased two adjoining units in a condominium and wanted to combine them into a space suitable for raising a family in the heart of Boston.  Public spaces such as living and dining rooms were prioritized to the northwest to take advantage of views of the river and setting sun, while bedrooms on the opposite end of the home had views of the city and utilized the southeastern exposure to their benefit.
